Any band with song titles like Skivvies or Trebuchet is someone I had to interview. Kyle, Dan and PJ huddled around their cell phone and talked to me about the band, their summer plans, and the worst gig they ever played.

When I think "fun music" I think of Ceili Rain. Led by Bob Halligan Jr., the band combines a joyful sound with lyrics that make you think. The songs are never preachy, but Bob, a master songwriter, shares his faith perfectly. "Ceili" is the Celtic word for "Party" and that is a good description of this band, a celtic party sound. For more information check out the Ceili Rain website. Plus, the website has some great new music videos you must check out.

Challenge & Change Podcast (Podcast Info)
Daily Walk Heavenwards (Podcast Info)
Choices are important but they are not all the same. the most fundamental choice we can make is to choose God. Then, we have to live it out. It’s not the priests’ job to spread the Word of God. It belongs to all the baptized. It’s hard but we must all pay the “rent” and stop living off someone else’s ministry.
Date: May 10, 2006Our Christian life is based on a relationship with a person. This relationship constantly goes through three basic speps: encounter with the Living Word (both “alive” and lived out), baptism (conversion, and change), and experience of New Life. These steps are experienced by the Ethiopians and are a model for all of us.
