In episode 19 of the CGP, I discuss Windows Vista and Office 2007, I play my first audio feedback, and I talk about St. John Vianney, my confirmation saint. In this episode, I talk about a mysterious Future Problem Solving Program DVD that I received in the mail, my new podcast recording schedule, my sci-fi story for this year’s FPSP scenario writing competition, the Optimist International essay contest, my internship with a Minnesota software company, more cool XAML stuff, the Disciples with Microphones website [...] No, I'm not talking about the music; I'm talking about a science fiction story I wrote when I was about 10 years old. In this edition of the Catholic Geek Podcast, I read my sci-fi story that placed first in the state of Iowa for the Junior division of the 2002 Future Problem Solving Program Scenario Writing Competition. In episode 16, I mention the new DwM Network ID, I relate why I wasn't able to podcast during my Christmas break, I talk about my experience and technical difficulties at the Iowa 2000 retreat (previously known as Youth 2000), I summarize the big announcements at the MacWorld and Consumer Electronics Show conferences (including the iPhone, Apple TV, Sync, and Windows Home Server), and I play a new version of the CGP promo. In episode 15, I interview my youngest sibling about his success in beating his older brothers (myself included) in Monopoly; I discuss my internship at a Minnesota software company; I talk about the .NET Framework, XAML, and the Windows Presentation Foundation; I discuss the new Digg Podcasts website; I give updates on the Tech News Podcast and Disciples with Microphones website version 4 projects; and I install and open iTunes for the first time ever, live on the show, and give my first impressions. In this episode I talk about the Future Problem Solving Program, Libsyn hosting, podcast filename conventions, and one potential content source for future Catholic Geek podcasts.
